THAI LANGUAGE LESSONS
L8(e) - 'meu-a rai' - When?

'meu-a rai' - is the Thai word for 'when'. This question word is normally put at the end of the question.

New vocabulary:

set finish

Let's look at some of examples:

set meu-a rai ? - when will you finish?

Note that in all our examples so far we are assuming the tense based on the context of the converstion. Much of Thai is spoken like this. In a later lesson we will show how to specify tense when the context of the conversation does not make it clear.

bpai meu-a rai ? - when do you go?

Not much more to this one really.
