Nakalay Beach
The Thavorn Beach Village Hotel blocks access to this beach. Well it is not the best beach so we will forgive them.
The sand is powdery but there is also a lot of shingle. The sea is shallow and the seabed rocky which means it is only suitable for bathing at high tide. If the tide is in you can snorkel but again it is not the best.
There is a boat pier in the middle of the beach. There is a nice cluster of casuarina trees at the center of the beach.

The hotel itself is very pleasant. It has a good pool, kids pool, spacious rooms and great views across the sea.
How to Get There
Four kilometers north of Patong before the big hill to Kamala is Nakalay Beach. You can see it from the coast road.
